Recycled v Bioplastic v Biodegradable

Latest stats show we only recycle around 12% of plastics in Australia. We have pushed hard for more sustainable packaging in Australia and this will continue to grow, however we want to know which area you would like to see us focus on.

What is more important for you and your brand? What is more important for you and your brand? Recycled Packaging - Made from post consumer resin, this plastic is reclaimed, cleaned and reprocessed back into a raw material to make packaging. Bioplastic Packaging - Made from plant derived plastics, lowers carbon footprint and is recyclable. Biodegradable Packaging - Breaks down over 6-10 years in standard landfill and quicker in controlled landfill stations (Opposed to potentially 1000 years). None - Price is paramount, sustainability is a fad, technology will solve the problem finding new ways to use the plastic for other uses.
